Dr. Charles Jobin Promoted to Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center

Columbia Orthopedics is pleased to announce that Dr. Charles M. Jobin, in recognition of his development as a leading clinician, educator, and researcher in the academic orthopedic community, has been promoted from assistant to associate professor.

In addition to serving as the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program Director at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, and team physician at the Riverdale Country School, Dr. Jobin is now an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center.

Dr. Jobin is a leader in the field of shoulder & elbow surgery whose clinical practice focuses on total joint replacement and advanced minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. His research is focused on the optimization of shoulder replacement outcomes, rotator cuff repair, and tendon injuries. He has co-authored numerous book chapters on a range of orthopedic topics and published articles in several of the top journals in his field, including the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, the American Journal of Sports Medicine, and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
