Columbia Orthopedic fellows and researchers participated in the 3rd International Thumb Osteoarthritis Workshop (ITOW 2018) held at the Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California.

 2018-2019 Hand, Elbow, & Microvascular Fellow, Chia Wu, MD, discussed “Subtraction Hemiarthroplasty in Basal Joint Arthritis: A New Operative Technique.” 2018 International Fellow Henrik Backer MD was a co-author on the presentation “Volar Plate Capsulodesis as Treatment for Hyperextension in Basal Joint Arthritis: A Retrospective Review.”
