Columbia Orthopedics sports medicine specialists Charles A. Popkin, MD; Lauren H. Redler, MD; and Christopher S. Ahmad, MD were published in Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics for their survey "Trends in Management and Complications of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries in Pediatric Patients: A Survey of the PRiSM Society." The survey asked members of the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRiSM) Society about their experience with the management and complications of pediatric anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. The 15-question survey was distributed to 71 orthopedic members and concluded that there have been major changes in the trends in pediatric ACL reconstruction over the last 15 years.
