Expert Care. Personalized Approach.

Patient Education & Resources

At Columbia Orthopedics, we believe the more active and engaged you are your own care, the healthier you will be. Since most medical decisions are ultimately in your hands, we want you to know as much as possible about your health and the care we can provide in partnership with you.

Pre-Op Education

We offer a patient education program for patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. These classes provide detailed information about what to bring to the hospital, what to expect on the day of surgery, pain management protocols, and recovery/rehabilitation needs after the operation. To further guide you and your family through the surgery and recovery process, our healthcare professionals have developed "What to Expect" patient education binders.
