This is a six-year training program wherein the fellow will fulfill one year of research, as the Harrison L. McLaughlin Fellow in Orthopaedic Trauma Research, at the Trauma Training Center. The Trauma Training Center is a clinical outcomes research facility with a continuum of studies for the fellow to supervise and direct. The fellow is also required to initiate and complete at least one new study during the year in the fellowship. This fellowship program’s first year is under the direction of Dr. Melvin P. Rosenwasser. On July 1st, the fellow will start the Orthopaedic Surgery residency training as a PGY-1 resident in General Surgery, for one year at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Upon successful completion, the fellow will begin the four-year orthopaedic training, in the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
