Sabrina Miranda, LCSW
Sabrina Miranda is a bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center. She works with patients across the life span including pediatric, transitional age, adult and older adult patients with Cerebral Palsy.
She is an integral member of the healthcare team and provides psychosocial assessments, care coordination, advocacy support, referrals to community resources, and supportive services. She assists patients and families in coping with the social/emotional and practical arrangements of navigating the healthcare system. Together with the multi-disciplinary team, Sabrina develops care plans and implementation of social work services to meet the complex needs of patients. Sabrina co-facilitates monthly support groups for patients and families of the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center to help connect community members in a safe and welcoming environment, where attendees can connect and meet new people. Sabrina conducts patient appointments both in-person and online virtual visits. Sabrina is licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey.
