Dr. William N. Levine to Serve as 36th ASES President

Columbia Orthopedics is thrilled to announce that William N. Levine, MD, Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, will serve as President of American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). Dr. Levine received the ASES presidential gavel during the ASES meeting on Friday, October 18th. 

"I am humbled as I begin my role as the 36th President of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. I am proud to carry on the tradition of Drs. Neer and Bigliani and pledge to represent the organization will all of the integrity and enthusiasm of my predecessors," said Dr. Levine.

Dr. Levine joins the ranks of Columbia Orthopedics pioneers who have served as ASES President. Dr. Charles S. Neer founded ASES and was the society's Inaugural President from 1982-83. Dr. Louis U. Bigliani served as the 14th ASES President from 1997-98.
