Scoliosis - A Guide for Children and Their Families

Columbia Orthopedics Chief of Pediatric Spine and Scoliosis Surgery, Michael Vitale, MD, published a book, co-authored by Columbia Pediatric Orthopedics Physician Assistant Amber Sentell Mizerik, PA-C, on scoliosis. The book titled “Scoliosis-A Guide for Children and Their Families” provides guidance, for patients and families, through the journey of getting the best possible care for childhood scoliosis.

The publication answers real-life questions about the advances in scoliosis care and features patient stories that provide a unique perspective "from kids to kids" about the different types of scoliosis and scoliosis treatment.

Dr. Vitale expressed his gratitude on Twitter, " Welcoming the newest addition to our family: Scoliosis: A Guide for Children and Their Families. Big shout out to Amber Sentell my friend, colleague and co-author for leadership and help with this fun project.”
